Andy Murray Tests Positive For COVID-19

Two-time Wimbledon champion and former world number one, Andy Murray has tested positive for coronavirus.
The British professional tennis player had been preparing for 2021 first Grand Slam, the Australian Open.

The 33-year-old was expected to travel to Australia on one of the 18 charter flights put in place by tournament organisers, however, he is currently self-isolating at home.

The five-time finalist at the Melbourne event is said to be in good health, and might be available for Australian Open.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday night confirmed one thousand three hundred and ninety-eight (1,228) new cases of COVID-19 disease in Nigeria.
The new cases were reported on the health agency’s official Twitter account on Wednesday night, January 12, 2021.
