Revile him not, He whom God has called into service of the people

To place the introductory subject in proper perspective, it is important to remember that human history is replete with instances of good versus evil and light versus darkness. These natural phenomena had been at each other’s throat since creation. The good thing though is that no matter and how powerful the forces of darkness or evil, light and good have always had the final victory.
To bring this closer home, our Lord Jesus Christ took to Human flesh just so that He could salvage mankind. He set out to accomplish this task and gave his all. At the end of the day, the same people he served, turned back to revile Him to no end. Despite His dual nature as God and man, Jesus knew that human beings are almost capable of anything. He knew before hand, that if human whom He persevered to serve could be this wicked as to revile Him as a God, then little hope would be left for the rest of humanity.
Perhaps, it must have been in the realization of the uncertainty of the human nature, that He counselled His followers to be careful not to condemn or abuse those He has called to serve the people. Perhaps, governor Ifeanyichukwu Ugwuanyi fitted this description of a leader called to serve. Perhaps, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi despite his avowal and commitment to good governance in Enugu State, enemies of progress have refused to see something good in his government. But is he distracted? I doubt so much! Is his morale dampened? Oh noo! His morale and positive energy combined is still giving Ndi Enugu the desired leadership.
Do not revile him whom God has called to serve the people of Enugu State. Gov. Ugwuanyi is one leader whose time is here with us until 2023 when God again will design another responsibility for him. Therefore, it is not in any man’s place, forces of political opposition or not to determine that or embark on a project designed to opprobriate him just so that they could triumph over him politically.
‘Whom God has raised, no one can bring down’ QED…

It is important also to emphasize that God had deposited in every human different talent. Then, there is therefore the need to identify our respective talents and make judicious use of it. Some few people are gifted with the gift of the garb, others with leadership traits etc. Perhaps, one important attribute of God’s creation is the forces of light and darkness and has given mankind free hand to make individual choices between the two opposing phenomenon. While some chose the light, others are reveling in the dark mode. It is to these later group of people, that we could counsel to maintain their space without mingling with the elements of the light. The sky is indeed too spacious to allow for the intermingling of the light and darkness.

There is no gain saying the fact that good leaders are good products. People are naturally attracted to what benefits them and not otherwise. One who is perceived to have the interest of the masses will naturally have the sympathy of the people and would be elected into political office when they come calling on the electorate. Therefore, any aspiring leader who intends to force himself or herself through hullabaloo on the people might just be quick sand and would never endure. May God forbid this in Enugu State. Amen…

Governor Ifeanyichukwu Ugwuanyi’s developmental trajectories in the state is an open testament. The people have seen this and would be prepared to give all in their power to queue behind another replica of Ugwuanyi and whom Ugwuanyi has so directed. No amount of political hullabaloo will defeat this objective of the people to the contrary. So help us God, Amen…

Truly, Enugu State Is In The Hands Of God.
