Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, since assumption of office as governor of Enugu state has ensured leadership by example. He does not believe in “send them, they can do it” rather, he exemplifies that leader who leads from the front. This has earned him the enviable reputation of the most grassroot governor of the time.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as a devoted Christian who hardly do anything without first involving God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy spirit is inspired by Jesus(God the Son) who is the good and perfect example of what leadership represents.
The readings of last Sunday, the 16th May 2021 clearly defines what should be perfect example of leadership wherever we found ourselves. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Governor of Enugu state emulated Jesus’ good leadership and humility when he on 13th of May made a swift move to help bring under control and ascertain the level of damage caused by the fire outbreak which occurred as a result of electricity power surge at Obollo Afor INEC office in Udenu Local Government Areas of the state.
The Governor showed humility and good leadership by attending to the distress call from Dustan Eke who is incharge of the office despite the odd hour of the night. This he did to
ensure that the incidence was brought under control by engaging nearby firemen at Udenu, Nsukka and Igboeze North Local Council Areas. His timely response and arrival at the scene of the fire incident was critical to the stoppage of the fire from further spreading to other office blocks in the facility. He taught his followers humility, deligence, peace and harmonious living for greater achievement for Ndi Enugu.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi a leader with a difference, with Jesus as his role model who thought his followers humility by example when he washed their feet shows his level of humility in his every day living. The People’s Governor embodied uncommon humility and down to earth dispositions in matters of governance. His open door policy administration has greatly endured him to Ndi Enugu.
Enugu State is in The Hands Of God.
